About me...

Hey there... My name is Stephen Youster, I'm a record producer and mixing engineer from County Kildare, Ireland. I specialise in the recording and production of bands and musicians, and pride myself on how dedicated I am to my work.

Every project I work on, however small or large, becomes my number one priority. Being a musician myself, I know how vital it is to capture the right sound and feeling in a recording. It's important when picking a producer/engineer to find one that will treat the songs with as much love and care as the musicians themselves. That's something you can guarentee when we're working together.

My job is to make sure the songs and performances are as good as they can possibly be. And my work doesn't stop until there is a finished product that we are both really proud of.

My Audio Background

I had the best of sound education at the Poppyhill School Of Recording, and was lucky enough to start working professionally as a sound engineer soon after graduating.

I've also completed multiple Pro Tools courses and am proud to say that I am now certified by AVID,(the company that owns Pro Tools).

I'm a musician myself too and over my career have been lucky to share a stage with bands such as Hands Like Houses, Blitz Kids, We Came As Romans, Silverstein, Four Year Strong and am grateful to have gotten to play on tour in China. My band's music has had over 20,000 downloads in the last couple of years, which was all recorded and mixed here in the studio.

I'm extremely passionate about recording and mixing audio. It's important to me that a mix sounds balanced, professional, and does nothing but enhance the excitement and feeling of a song. There is a lot of great sounding music out there, I'll make sure that yours stands up strong next to it! So look around the site, have a listen to my work and if you want to talk about doing a project of your own, get in touch!

Even if you just want some advice for your band, or are a budding sound engineer and want to talk or ask me some questions. Send me a message and I'd be happy to chat with you.
